Seismography of time
Every life leaves imprints.
In this work the gesture is intimate.
It follows the rhythm of the hand, of thought, of the heartbeat.
Of what flows through the veins.
The lines move in a single possible direction: forward.
The gesture never retreats to correct itself. It continues, generating new vibrations.
Over time these imprints settle on the surface, turning it into a silent seismography of gesture.
The imprints are those beneath, but also those above.
The lines flow and sometimes, meet the imprints of the past.
